Donald Glover Drops Into PUBG

Donald Glover is writing, directing, executive producing, and starring in a live-action PUBG series for Netflix. His brother Stephen Glover, his writing partner on Atlanta, joins as a writer and executive producer.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is Krafton's battle royale game from 2017, and Netflix is developing it as a live-action show with plot details still under wraps. I talk through why the Glover brothers make me trust this one even though Atlanta is a completely different tone, how Mr. & Mrs. Smith gave Donald some action experience, and the question I can't shake after hundreds of hours in the game: what story is there to tell?
