An interview with Claire Bloomfield, Head of Women’s Football at the ECA

On today’s bonus episode, Chloe and Rachel are joined by Claire Bloomfield. She’s the Head of Women’s Football at the European Club Association, which has become a vital part of governance within the women’s game over the last few years!

Claire chats to us about their recent groundbreaking study into football boots and what can be done to improve accessibility and safety within the game. We also speak about the ECA’s role in structuring the season, how European competitions are looking to expand and what it’s like to be right at the heart of making decisions that affect the entire pyramid!
