Autism Facial Expressions The Fascinating Truth (You Want To Know)

Autism Facial Expressions The Fascinating Truth (You Want To Know)

This is the interesting truth about autism facial expressions and the understanding of facial emotions. As autism impacts the communication part of the brain, there is no surprise that Autistc people have major issues with understanding and identifying peoples facial expressions. But it isn’t just identifying other peoples facial expressions it’s also knowing how to form the appropriate facial expression can be super difficult for autistic people to understand. There are a few reasons why this may be an issue. First off it is common for autistic people to not make eye contact which would cause a lack of visually looking at someone’s face. Another reason is that the communication issues that impact people on the autism spectrum can interfere with the way in which you track and observe emotions on peoples faces. Please leave a comment if you have anything to add, I read every single one. Also please follow @TheAspieWorld for more autism content.

Can Autism And Allergies Be Related?

Can Autism And Allergies Be Related?

Can Autism And Allergies Be Related? Autism and allergies have a common story, with almost every autistic person I know has allergies. Brillia https://www.discoverbrillia.com [CODE: ASPIE15 for 15% OFF!] For shipments to the UK please email info@discoverbrillia.com But is there a relationship between autism and allergies? Recently I have had an updated assessment for diagnostic criteria to have a more in-depth understanding of my autism and Co-occurring conditions. As an autistic person who suffers with aggravated eczema which is a skin allergy, it was noted that this was a common occurrence with people on the spectrum and was almost expected. This being said, it would be noted by the medial industry that allergies are related to autism and common in autistic people. Every summer and spring I have to take allergies relief medicine and it worries me a bit due to taking so many meds. I’d love to know your thoughts on this topic and I’d you have any allergies. Autism In The Media (Why I Was KICKED OFF THE CIRCLE😤)

Autism In The Media (Why I Was KICKED OFF THE CIRCLE😤)

Autism in media has a long way to go - this is why I was kicked off TV! SIA VIDEO: https://youtu.be/YGul8R9ZmXU There is a history of issues with how autism is represented in the media from, film and movies to TV shows and reality TV shows. I was asked to audition of a reality TV show in 2019 as a chance to compete on a reality TV gaming show. The importance of what I would do on this show, was the ability to bring awareness from a daily living perspective under a reality TV show about autism and ADHD. This was my objective and mission of this process. The TV company at first seemed to understand and want to get on board with it, but then they turned it. Relight at the last second, 3 days before going onto the show they called and said they didn’t want me on the show. When I asked about this, they said they wanted to play it safe...? This was such a blow to my mission and everything I had been working towards. If you have any comments please pop it in the comments below as I read every one.
