Is The Disney Float Autism Movie Good?

Is The Disney Float Autism Movie Good?

Here is my honest review of Disney’s Float Autism Movie Disney shorts. I did a review recently about Disney’s Loop autism movie and I totally loved it, Disney really nailed it on that short film. It then suggested another one to me called Float. Now Disney have made several movies called ‘shorts’ on their Disney+ platform and they seem to be fantastic. I watched the 9 min Disney Float film, about a father and his child who has the ability to float in mid air. This causes people to point and stair and judges and eventually segregate them from playing the the local park. It gets to a point where the father shouts ‘why cant you just be normal’ and the kid deflates and becomes super vulnerable. But the metaphorical story behind this simple yet effective film is that, this child is seem as ‘not normal’ because he has some ability that is different to the other children. this can be related to autism and other learning difficulties that makes children different to the typical child. In the end the father embraces the difference and realises the love that he shares for his child and the child is able to be happy and play where he wants in the park regardless of the stairs. I HIGHLY recommend watching this one! HASH TAGS: #0127   #Autism   #ActuallyAutistic

Autism In Adults (5 Ways YOU Have Not Seen It)

Autism In Adults (5 Ways YOU Have Not Seen It)

This is autism in adults in a way you have not seen before. Autism spectrum disorder does not stop as you get older into adulthood become fully grown adults. In fact as you get older Autism gets actually more difficult and harder for people living independently without support or help. It isn’t always easy to spot Autism in adults, this is why I decided to create a list of five things that you probably wouldn’t really associate with autism that you can notice in people to see if they’re on the autism spectrum. Using this knowledge you can then go forward to help and support those people if they are presenting these specific characteristics of autism. 1 Lack Of Social Interaction An adult who is on the autism spectrum may not have the best social skills and when it comes to talking on the water cooler or any other social gathering they may not be able to interact as a typical person would. Not knowing the right things to say and having a lack of social conversation filter. 2 Reclusive Autistic person who is an adult may be reclusive and hold themselves back from joining social gatherings social events going to friends houses or work parties because these things are uncomfortable for them so you will not likely see them attending these things. 3 Obsessive Intense Interest People who are on the autism spectrum will usually have an interest that is honest excessive. But in adults this will become quite intense it could be gaming reading books or researching certain information about a certain topic. 4 Strict Clock Work Routine Autistic adults will always follow a very strict routine that they do like clockwork every day the same thing probably eating the same food doing the same tasks every day has a sense of normality and you could run this via your own watch. 5 Intense Emotions People who are autistic in adult hood are more likely to not be able to control any part of their emotions and therefore will show high degrees of intense emotions like extreme ups and extreme downs and have a lack of communicating their emotions and feelings to someone.

The Sia Autism Controversy: Kate Hudson Responds

The Sia Autism Controversy: Kate Hudson Responds

This take a turn for the “are you kidding me?” When Kate Hudson joins the conversation. So the Sia movie that has gone viral for its controversy surrounding autism and some controversial scenes surrounding it is everywhere. I myself have done lots of discussions and videos on this topic and it is still ongoing. Open till this point there has only been Sia a self who has said anything about the movie and the backlash she is getting, the other actors have this far kept quiet. That is until now as Kate Hudson was asking about the controversy in an interview from an article published in the Independent where she states that she was unaware of any controversy surrounding the, and I quote “beautiful movie”. My thoughts on this and Kates inability to face facts and talk about it honestly is quite worrying, as Kate should have just been honest and said how she felt. Saying that she had not seen any controversy around it is a very outlandish lie since people like good morning America and CNN have covered this story, and she is in the movie. Is Disney Loop AUTISM FILM Any GOOD?

Is Disney Loop AUTISM FILM Any GOOD?

This is my honest review of the Disney loop autism film, and if it is any good! So this film is a short film as part of the Disney shorts on the Disney+ app that they released in 2019. The movie is a representation of a young boy and a young girl who is a non-verbal autistic girl out on a canoe on a lake. The story unfolds that the young girl in question Renée is in the canoe on her own and this young boy who is also needing to get out on the water in a canoe is late and has to take the canoe with Renée. He is aware Renée does not talk as she is a non-verbal autistic girl. This however blossoms into a very interesting and short affinity relationship. The film shows autism in a very interesting light, sharing stimming, sharing repetitive listening and non-verbal communication. The young boy has to learn very quickly how to communicate the needs of Renée in order to understand what’s going on. They do however come across a situation and she loses her cell phone which was her comfort stim and he has to avoid a meltdown. The music the style and the design and also the story of this film is absolutely beautiful and I think it is a great representation of a small window into the life of autistic individuals. Thing I love most about it is that this is about an autistic girl autistic female and it’s not often we see autism in girls represented in the media. Let me know if you’ve seen it and what your thoughts are in a comment down below.
