Episode 92: Carolina Tiger Rescue w/Katie Cannon

Episode 92: Carolina Tiger Rescue w/Katie Cannon

Katie Cannon is the education director of Carolina Tiger Rescue, North Carolina’s only federally accredited wild cat sanctuary. A federally accredited sanctuary means Carolina Tiger Rescue is a 501-c3 non-profit; it does not buy, sell, or trade any of its animals or their parts; it does not do any breeding; and it is a no-contact facility. Through their education programming and guided tours, they help visitors understand the downfalls and dangers of private ownership, as well as the realities behind cub petting and other exploitation of wild animals.
