Don't be Blue? WHY NOT?! 2021 WEEK SEVEN College Football Preview Show & Week 6 Review

Welcome back to The Grey Zone! It's the college football podcast that reminds you to savor every snap from every game every single fall Saturday (and Fridays, and most Thursdays, some Sundays, and another Tuesday this past week but who's counting?).

My guest this week is the brilliantly cool, the effortlessly rad, the brazen muse of the Maize & Blue, Tabatha West! Many of my favorite & most inspirational voices in the sport life in general are from women, from Brené Brown to national treasure Holly Rowe, even my own coach & mentor, so I'm making a deliberate point to have more exceptional women on the show. I still couldn't have been less prepared for how fun, inspirational and therapeutic it was going to be speaking with Tabs for the first time ever (& not just because her football team is still undefeated). I missed last week due to COVID-19. I got it. It sucks. I'm vaccinated. We'll never know how much the vaccine helped me (ex., I didn't have to go to the hospital), but one thing I'm certain of is even a mild headache is not worth the fear of the worst-case scenario in a decade or more later from a shot today. Get the shot if you can, & do your best to encourage others to as well, & to discourage fear, always.

Even Alabama loses football games, so get up and get ready for even more chaos as this week once again we're guaranteed another loss from another undefeated team! Here's a hint, though: it ain't Michigan!

My week 6 picks were more improved than Tennessee's football program has been in over a decade, but this week I've got more film, more data, & even more reason to believe I'll never be more wrong than I was in week 1.

Speaking of Tennessee, can Ole Miss win in Knoxville with Tennessee's best coach since 1999 coaching the Rebels? (hint, yes, but my God, take the over).

What do Michigan, Georgia and Texas San Antonio have in common after this weekend? (hint, it doesn't start with the letter "L").

Beavers and Bears and Bearcats, oh my!

Now that Syracuse finally has air conditioning in a dome named after an air conditioning company (& promptly removing its name...?), does Clemson look more like who we expected them to be in August? (hint, you can literally overdose on too much Vitamin C).

And who the hell is Tom Brady, anyway?

It's way too much fun savoring absolutely every snap you can, but if you gotta get mad at anything, get mad at February when college football is over, & until then hang ten in The Grey Zone!
