Mike and Jason return for episode 18 of Bruins Beat. The start of the show starts with the discussion of defense. Adam McQuaid return and Colin Miller sent to Providence. After the defensemen talk, Mike and Jason debate on the job security of Claude Julien after this season. Jason then talks about the trade deadline coming up and if the Bruins should buyers or sellers. The trade deadline debate causes Mike to wonder what the future of Loui Eriksson is with the Bruins. Mike and Jason also discuss the possibility of Brad Marchand reaching 40 goals and why he is the MVP of the Bruins this season. After much debate to open the show, Mike and Jason then breakdown the week for the Bruins. Bruins had a good record on the road trip, but Mike and Jason still weren’t impressed. Roller Coaster season continues for Boston, but with one win the Bruins finally ended a drought. Tune in to find out what it is. Mike and Jason then discuss the Bruins upcoming schedule and how difficult it is. The schedule leads to a debate about the Bruins playoff chances this season. Mike then brings up Jaromir Jagr and his incredible career, Shayne Gostisbehere and his increible rookie season, and then talk about how exciting it is rookies are doing well in the NHL. Mike and Jason then end the show giving their predictions for this week and why this week is crucial for Bruins.
