Episode 98: Jaxson Love (Part 1)

When two-year-old Jaxson Love was rushed to the emergency room in Stockton, California on July 25, 2017, his father and stepmother, Willard and Chalsey Maynard, said the toddler had been injured by falling from a trampoline. However, when Chalsey was further interviewed, she admitted to throwing her husband’s son in the air and letting him fall to the ground over her anger that Jaxson was the product of his father’s infidelity.

In this episode, I will tell you the story of Jaxson Love, a little boy who was deeply loved by his family and whose big smile could light up any room. I’ll also tell you the story of a mother who wallowed in malice and spite until she ultimately lashed out at the very last person who deserved her wrath.

In next week’s episode, you’ll hear my conversation with Jaxson’s mom, Brittany Gonzales, who has tirelessly sought #JusticeforJax for four and a half years.
