Join us for the 2nd edition of out Virtual Auchterarder Running Festival specials. In this episode Steven catches up with marathon runner Andy Lochhead for some tips on pacing and motivation.

Andy is in a good place to give out advice, in 2019 he completed pacing duties during the Auchterarder Half Marathon. Asked to cross the finish line in under 2 hours he came in with just a few seconds to spare, leading those who had joined him to a treasured sub 2 hour half marathon.

He's got some golden tips to pass on. Hear about how best to set your target time, advice on pacing your run, some mind tricks to help motivation and how to make sure you keep driving towards that virtual race finish line. Who even needs streets lined with crowds to spur on that finish line sprint??!!

Andy also adds his choice of song into the Virtual ARF playlist............and it's a belter..........so let's get ready to rumble and enjoy the pod!
