188. Faith, Freedom and Integrity w/ Nurse Garen Pido

In today's episode, Emily has guest Garen Pido on. Garen lives in California and is a registered nurse, mom of 2 and wife to an LA Firefighter. She has recently made some waves on Instagram following her post about segregation and discrimination at her place of work. Garen was told that she was no longer allowed to sit inside to eat or drink while working her shift and can no longer go to the break room with her fellow co-workers all due to not being vaccinated. Garen has been a long standing advocate for bodily autonomy and informed consent but has remained respectful of others' choices whether she agrees or not. She and Emily talk about her experience as a pregnant nurse during the pandemic and how things are going for her now at work as she stands up for her faith, integrity and freedom.
