William Lindsey

From the early 1980s and into the mid-1990s, a serial killer was terrorizing sex workers in Florida and North Carolina. William Lindsey was arrested in Asheville after beating a prostitute to death in 1996. A retired former police officer living in the area sent a newspaper clipping to the St Johns County Sheriff. The Sheriff's office had been investigating brutal cold case murders of Florida sex workers for a decade and a half. William Lindsey's crimes were surprising to a lot of people as he seemingly represented a normal family man in everyday life. Join Mountain Murders for another tale of a cold, calculating monster who preyed on vulnerable women.
