Nick is joined by Jéssica Frota (@Je_Frota) as Chelsea’s premier league season got under way with a 1-1 draw vs Liverpool thanks to Axel Disasi’s debut goal. It was an encouraging performance as Chelsea came from a goal down to earn a point in Poch’s first game. It was a shaky start but after that lots of players grew into it with Colwill, Enzo, Gallagher & Jackson singled out for praise. With Nkunku’s injury worse than initially feared it’s a blow & we discuss the impact that will have as well as the opportunity it opened up for Carney Chukwuemeka who slowly grew into the game.
