What True Healing Really Means #285

"Look after your health." We all say this very often, usually thinking about a healthy lifestyle.

But really caring about health doesn’t just mean hitting the gym or eating healthy food. If you're not dealing with your past traumas and taking care of your mental, emotional, and spiritual health, all that effort is like trying to patch up a leaky boat.

Your body is like a faithful friend that's been through it all with you. It doesn’t deserve to have its needs (or overall well-being, if you will) ignored.

This means you don’t have to deprive yourself of all pleasures and never eat candy, pizza, or go for a drink or two. You should have your little 'unhealthy' joys as long as you don’t have... let's say, late-night burgers every day. And as long as you love yourself and don’t give up.

Actually, it's all about striking a balance. Simple but often not easy.

In this week’s episode, I’m diving deep into this whole idea – how to really take care of your health by balancing your life and healing from your past. I also talk about how crucial it is to take action and invest in yourself to make your dreams come true.
