12:12 Autism Symptoms Explained

Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for if I suspect my younger sister may be on the Autism Spectrum? She is currently 14. She was diagnosed with Oppositional Defiance Disorder a few years ago when she was 11. When she was younger she dealt with a delay in speech and I remember she did not talk until completing speech therapy when she was about 3 years old. She pointed and grunted, but she didn't use words until about 3.5, 4. She is currently a freshman in high-school, in special education classes even though the only diagnosis that she has received is ODD. She goes to a public school in Kentucky so there are not a lot of resources around.

23:35 My 3.5 year old son has been in ABA for 40 hours a week for 6 months. He has only made 2-3 months gain on the Vineland (Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales).

26:13 Will my Son Ever Become Conversational?

My 3.5 year old is working on Intraverbals in ABA. Will he likely become conversational in the future?

29:27 What Should Parents be Looking for if they Think Their Child may be Autistic?

33:10 How do we get our BCBA on the same page as us Medically?

41:57 My Son Says he Hates Blonde Girls.

44:15 I can't get Doctors to understand her situation. Everyone wants to medicate her.

46:32 When is one in the clear when it comes to regression? Or is it always a possibility?

48:28 My son is having play therapy and it is Useless. 1.5 hours for 4 days and I will have to teach him myself.

49:41 Are there any other NT activities that you think we should work on?

51:40 Any Tips for Encouraging my Son to Take his Time with his School Work?

55:40 The school will not allow my child to take action before she has a tantrum. What ever solution they have for tantrums always takes place after the tantrum.
