This week, Drewby and Yergy head over to Milwaukee to discuss the case of Sade Robinson, a beautiful 19-year-old young woman who was just months away from earning her degree in criminal justice. That was until April 1st, 2024, when Sade went on a date with a man named Maxwell Anderson. After visiting a few area bars, Sade accompanied Maxwell back to his home where they watched Love, Death + Robots. This week, Drewby and Yergy head down to the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona to discuss the case of Emily Pike, a 14-year-old girl who was living in a group home in Mesa. However, on the evening of January 27th, 2025, dressed in a pink and gray shirt, Emily left the group home on foot. She was never seen alive again. On Valentine’s day 2025, hikers were walking a trail in the Tonto National Forest found two garbage bags that contained partial dismembered remains. Test later confirmed that the remains belonged to Emily Pike. This week, Drewby and Yergy head to Utah to discuss the case of Gavin Peterson, a 12-year-old boy who was murdered at the hands of his father, stepmother, and adult brother. Gavin was locked in a room without bedding or blankets, and monitored with multiple CCTV cameras. While the other siblings had carpeted floors, Gavin’s room had painted plywood. Tape was laid out in the shape of a box on the floor, and areas in his room were covered with black vomit. The box on the floor was supposed to be his bed. Gavin was starved for days and refused water despite begging for it. He consumed his own waste in an attempt to stay alive. In the end, Gavin died from sepsis, dehydration, and malnutrition. The torture he endured was so horrific that it brought the judge to tears.
