8/8 Lion's Gate - Is it real or is it nonsense? | Ep #18

So what's all the fuss about 8/8 Lionsgate - and it is even astrology.

Probably not, right? Or maybe?

I gave my opinion last year and upset someone to the point they "reported me" to Hay House!

So rather than wading in again myself this year, I thought I would bring on two of my favourite friendly astrologers Kelly Surtees and Divine Harmony.

Kelly was arguing (mostly) no and Harmony was arguing (likely) yes.

So what IS Lion's Gate?

It is said, the Lion's Gate portal opens once a year on 8/8. This is a time when the sun is in Leo, Orion's belt, the star Sirius, as well as the earth all line up. In numerology, 8 also carries a lot of significance, so two 8s when August 8 (8/8) happens, it gives the practitioner a potent opportunity to manifest their deepest dreams and desires.

For non-believers, 8/8 doesn't add up. It seems to be a miscommunication about an Aquarius lunar eclipse in 1998 and is not considered Astrology.

Whichever side you stand, If there is an important takeaway we can all agree on it is that it really is about the intention we put behind things and the sacred space we create around ourselves.

Make the most out of this event, no matter which side of the coin you stand, by meditating on the majesty of the lioness.
