We discuss a poor first half for Chelsea and a better second half but Utd out do Chelsea again winning 2-1 in the Carabao Cup. But were Chelsea simply done by two mistakes & two well executed set pieces? Did Utd’s strong selection, packed midfield & counter-attacking stump Chelsea?

On the plus side, there was more game time for James; Guehi & Gilmour and a superb Drogba-esque goal from Batshuayi but can he do this more often and will going out of the Cup have longer term benefits for Chelsea?
