How To Understand Your Genotype

Allie asks:Her brother has the ApoE 3,4 genotype and high cholesterol. This genotype indicates that he is more likely respond to dietary changes in fat. They say that he should be eating a low-fat diet but they don't explain what that means. Do you have any advice what kinds of fat he should eat/avoid OR if a low fat diet is actually good for that genotype.

Should You Use Orthotics?

Amy asks:She has just returned to running from some time off due to a foot injury. She hasn't been back long and she is already having foot issues again. Where would you recommend going to get some good advice and diagnostics done on her feet or running gait. She feels like her podiatrist is just a glorified orthotic salesman.

Katie asks:Her father was just released from hospital/rehab after 42 days from Guillain-Barré syndrome as a result of a flu shot. He is currently in a wheel chair and cannot walk. Do you know any supplements or foods that will help rebuild his nerves and speed his healing?
