Dick Vitale: College Basketball Broadcaster’s Victory Over Cancer

Hall of Fame Broadcaster, Dick Vitale, opens up about facing melanoma, lymphoma and vocal cord dysplasia - all in a seven month period. In this 2022 interview, Vitale and those closest to him reveal the emotional and physical toll this rough patch took on the beloved Dickie V and his family. Vitale, along with his wife Lorraine and daughter Terri, recount some of his darkest days along with some surprisingly lighter moments, like a celebratory dinner when he was diagnosed with lymphoma. Vitale also shares how his own battle with cancer motivates him even more to end childhood cancer.
