With just three days left in the January transfer window, Nottingham Forest have stepped up their pursuit of a number of new targets, including a goalkeeper, a striker and a winger. Forest seem desperate to strengthen their squad in the final few days, but can they get any of these transfer over the line in time for Thursday deadline. Ismaïla Sarr is the former Watford winger who moved to Ligue 1 in France in the summer, but today Forest have been linked with a potential move for the Marseille player. Sarr has been away with Senegal for the AFCON cup, but has played 21 times for Marseille this season, so would they be willing to let the player leave this January after only recently purchasing him. Hugo Ekitike is a 21 year old French striker who plays for PSG in France, the highly thought of youngster was brought in by PSG in the summer for around £25 million, but has only made one appearance so far this season, and a loan deal for Ekitike might be an option for Forest this window.
