#7 Thyroid Illness & Losing Her Husband | (Thyroid Warrior) Grisska

This series is my way of giving back to the Thyroid Community in order to help combat the loneliness and isolation that so many of you are feeling, I provide that support by holding space for women from my Thyroid community who volunteer to talk about and share this every journey with you.

@elizondogrisska Grizzka’s Thyroid journey is powerful.
.
She first struggled with moodiness and irritability unbeknownst to her. Her husband encouraged her to be seen by a doctor and she was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism
.
This happened in the middle of her fighting for her husbands life from kidney failure
.
Over the course of a few long, very hard years, sadly, they lost the battle and he passed away one year ago this month in their home
.
Since his passing her condition switched to Hyperthyroidism and she is now battling fatigue, hair loss, weakness, balance issues, a swollen gland, and how to live life with just her, her dear pets and her family.
.
She is truly a WARRIOR at heart with the sweetest, aura and glow about her
.
