Episode 67 - Shawn Anderson - How His Never Give Up Attitude Led To Helping More Of Us Go The Extra Mile

Episode 67 - Shawn Anderson - How His Never Give Up Attitude Led To Helping More Of Us Go The Extra Mile

This is Episode 67 of the VulnerABLE Podcast!

In college he'd end up with an injury that would keep most of us from moving forward. Now through his Extra Mile movement, he's helping other push their own limits to achieve their goals and dreams!

While attending college, during an intramural football game he would run head to head with another player from a field that was backing onto his. He would shatter his cheek bone and end up with swelling in his brain, which meant an induced coma. For most people this would leave them wondering how to move forward, but for him he just returned to school like nothing happened. Something within him told him that he couldn’t quit, and he was provided with the insight that if he could overcome this he’ll be able to overcome anything in life. It’s allowed him to take on challenges that most of us would think are crazy, and continuing to push even when giving up seemed like that smarter decision. Now through his books, speaking and results-producing coaching he is helping everyone go the extra mile. His movement by the same name has been adopted by over 500 US cities as Extra Mile Day.
