Her family has been making wine since 1385 and today own 12,000 hectares of vineyards across Italy and produce more than 80 wines. Albiera carries the title of president, she is the first to explain that duties are split between all three Antinori sisters, with each finding a niche to pursue her passions. Alessia oversees the Antinori Art Project while Allegra looks after their restaurants, including Cantinetta Antinori. Albiera loves architecture so she worked closely on the construction and opening of their new Chianti Classico winery, museum and headquarters, which opened to the public five years ago.
