Welcome Back! Season 7 Begins Today. Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

Greetings everyone! Welcome to the weekly podcast of Calgary Mindfulness, released each Sunday morning. This is a 15 minute weekly meditation intended to introduce and support new meditators or experienced meditators looking for supported practice online.

I hope you all had a lovely summer. It is the first day of autumn in my neck of the woods (Calgary, Alberta) and we've enjoyed many outdoor meditations over the summer in very pretty Calgary parks. Thanks for making the time for this! In today's meditation, we reintroduce the key anchors of mindfulness meditation, as a starting point for developing the mental and physical discipline to pursue this practice: body, breath and sound. We spend most time working with sound but in subsequent practices we will explore the breath and body more deeply.
