#28 Ralph Natter Berg: Solve business problems, the fact is that every job is a sales job — even yours

In the #28 episode of EXPresso, Odin Teigland and myself are talking with my boss, Ralph Natter Berg. He is the VP of Sales at Ardoq and is currently working to continue the company's expansion in the US, from our Offices in New York. He will soon move to the Big Apple together with his family. This is also why this interview is in English - there is truly something magical with Norwegians speaking English and we hope you get a good laugh, as well as valuable takeaways from the episode.

Ralph is born and raised on Nesodden and today he talks about his journey so far - working in sales and how it all started. His career in Sales started with Meltwater, a Norwegian social media monitoring and engagement software company founded in 2001 by Jørn Lyseggen. He talks about his view on people-first culture and how this is being developed every single day at Ardoq. You need to be bold in the decisions you are making, driven in how you work when setting big ambitions and most important, caring and understand that it's always about making room for the team around you.

After university, Ralph had no intention to work with sales. He wanted to be a consultant with an ambition to work for one of the big 4 consultancy companies. But then he found Meltwater and company's culture hit home with him - fun, always the best and respec. it's unethical not to sell. Selling is something everyone does, every single day and it's not determined by the role you have.

This is episode #28 and Ralph Natter Berg!
