Through five games, the Spurs have the 11th-ranked offense and the 24th-ranked defense. A key reason for the Spurs' strong start on offense has been catching opponents off guard with their pace, their ball movement, and their 3-point shooting.

Analysis of the Spurs’ core rotation players

With All-Star Dejounte Murray now in Atlanta, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson have taken the responsibility of being the go-to players for San Antonio.
