270. Comparison is the thief of joy

A new era has begun. In defeat. The 2-1 loss to Aston Villa last weekend was a frustrating one and, as seems to be the case with most things these days, completely split the fanbase. One half saw positives in the performance and signs that Julen Lopetegui's philosophy will eventually come good, while the other half felt like is much of the same as we saw under David Moyes and have already started comparing everything. Yep, you guessed it, it's the exact same thing on this podcast. James is upbeat and says he saw enough in the performance to be confident of eventual success. Will didn't see any of that and is still questioning the decision to part ways with David Moyes. So that debate and discussion understandably takes up the majority of this week's podcast, while the lads also discuss the ticket concessions again in more detail and then look ahead to Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace.
