HELLO NEW PODCAST LISTENER! - update 05/12/23Don't start with this episode! I know there is often a sense that people feel, when they try out a new podcast, that they should start with the first episode. However, I want to give you fair warning that the first series of the podcast (and particularly the first few episodes) are not very good! I was coming in with no experience, which I think I mentioned at the time but after listening back to some of the early ones more recently (and seeing from the insights helpfully provided by Acast that this is where most people start) I really do feel obliged to discourage you from feeling that you're missing out by skippping straight to a more recent series! I see from the statistics that the vast majority of downloads each month are of this episode and many who listen to it decide, not unreasonably, that it is not worth sticking with. Which is a shame beacuse I really hit my stride later on and Lesbian Slave Island is not representative of all that this podcast has to offer. I have considered just deleting this first series but I leave it up because I think its nice to keep a record of where things started, both for my own humility and in case people find it interesting. I like to think that I'm still getting better with each new series, learning new things, upgrading my equipment and finding my voice. I have also got a bit better at choosing stories which work for the format and one of the big lessons in series one was that Lesbian Slave Island was not a particularly good pick (even if it does retain a special place in my heart). By all means, if you like the later episodes and feel like you want to go back and experience the origins of Let's Get Sexy, then please do.(Original Description)Everything has to start somewhere and in this first episode, I don't really know what I'm doing yet!
