Ep 146: ENCORE Episode: You’re Not In Control Of Anything

Start Your Transformation Now Despite what you think, you’re not in control of anything. It’s the greatest illusion that most of us get into and it’s toxic to so many areas of life. In this episode I talk about: How control issues destroy self, relationships, families and even businesses I often see it: [2:46] Regarding self – mentally exhaust people and create frustration [9:48] Regarding families – I’ve seen it divide families [10:18] Regarding partnerships – I’ve seen it create “prisons” for partners [11:57] Regarding business – I’ve seen it strangle business growth The reality is, you have zero control in life and even if you think you do, you don’t. In truth and science, your brain runs the show. Your brain is in control. When you get into a car, how much control do you have? Better yet, when you get on an airplane, how much control do you really have? This is one episode of a few I’m going to create on the subject. Enjoy! Transformational Takeaway: You have ZERO control over anything in your life, but you do have influence in your life. Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 293: Which game of life are you playing?

Ep 293: Which game of life are you playing?

Start Your Transformation Now Have you ever thought about life as being like a game? I don't mean board games or video games, but more like the “game of life” we are all playing every day on this planet. We follow certain rules, take on roles, and have different beliefs that shape how we play.  In this unique episode, we’ll explore the idea that we actually have a choice when it comes to the “game” we play.  So, what’s the difference between playing the “human game” with its restrictive rules and playing the “spiritual/cosmic game”? The human game leads to struggle, while the cosmic game recognizes our infinite abilities to create, heal, and manifest. Most people play the limiting human game that they are born into and never question the rules. The cosmic game taps into our divine eternal nature beyond the 3D physical reality. Identifying when you've slipped into playing the human game is the first step to realigning with your cosmic consciousness. I share how we can shift out of the toxic human game and into the expansive cosmic game through developing mantras and habits of mind. As we cover that together, I provide examples of mantras to repeat when struggling with fear, doubt, or other low vibrational emotions. Mantras help disrupt negative thought patterns and reconnect you to your highest self. Focus on the “always fine” cosmic perspective rather than human drama. You are a creator – if you made it, you can unmake it. The more we balance the cosmic and human games, the more empowered, peaceful, and purposeful our lives become. Be mindful of when you are playing the limiting human game and use mantras and a higher perspective to shift back into your divine power. Transformational Takeaway: Life is a game – but you get to make the rules. Choose the cosmic game and unlock your infinite potential. Shift your perspective and change your world. How might your life change if you created your own rules? Mentioned Resources: Carl Sagan – Pale Blue Dot Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 292: Are you doing the tango of life backwards?

Ep 292: Are you doing the tango of life backwards?

Start Your Transformation Now Are You Doing the Tango of Life Backwards? In this episode, I explore the idea that life is like a dance with the universe. Many people are not “tangoing” with life and the universe in the right way to get the results they want.  We often think the universe “has our back” and will give us what we want. But, the truth is the universe reflects us back to ourselves. The universe doesn't test you; it mirrors you. Your external experience reflects your inner consciousness and vibration. To change your life, you must take 100% responsibility for your emotional state and vibration. Taking “responsibility” means actively causing something to happen. If you haven't achieved what you want in life, it's because you haven't taken full ownership of making it happen. You must manage your thinking and feelings to emit the frequency that attracts what you desire. Trying to force your desired reality often backfires. Allow what is while holding the vision for what you want. Fighting life lowers your vibration and brings more of what you're fighting against. Acceptance and non-resistance are key. Transformational Takeaway: When we resist “what is,” we lower our vibration and attract more of what we don’t want. How can you allow the present moment and release the struggle? What higher vision for your life can you connect to that elevates your frequency? How can you tango with life in a new way that serves your growth and evolution? Ep 291: Why Your Brain Stops You From Taking Action And Creating A Better Life

Ep 291: Why Your Brain Stops You From Taking Action And Creating A Better Life

Start Your Transformation Now In this enlightening episode, I discuss why our brains often sabotage us from taking action and making positive changes in our lives. We'll explore insights into the psychological barriers that hold us back and practical tips for breaking through these mental blocks. While we may consciously want to improve our lives, our subconscious minds and ingrained habits resist change. This is due to the older, survival-based part of our brains. To create change, we must operate in alignment with how our brains are wired – by transforming our subconscious beliefs. Progress requires action. But action often involves discomfort, fear, and anxiety. We must push through these feelings to get unstuck. Staying in our comfort zone leads to stagnation. Decide on a new path, and don't worry about if the actions are messy. Perfect action often never happens. We must trust ourselves to follow through, not just trust external advice. Focus on trusting your ability to course correct, not on the outcome. Do your due diligence, then take action. You can't over-learn everything. What is holding you back from creating the life you want? Is it truly a lack of time, money, or skill – or is it the protective mechanisms of your own mind? Transformational Takeaway: Ponder the possibility that your subconscious beliefs and ingrained habits are resisting the very change you consciously seek – then ask yourself, what small action can you take today to push past your comfort zone and into progress? Ep 290: INTERVIEW: From Victim To Victor - Overcoming Limiting Belief

Ep 290: INTERVIEW: From Victim To Victor - Overcoming Limiting Belief

Start Your Transformation Now Let's be honest – we've all been victims at some point in our lives. We get burned out, blame others for our struggles, and complain that the world is out to get us. Today, I want to introduce you to someone who turned the challenges in her life into the stepping stones for success. In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Nicole Wehn, a remarkable business coach from Germany who specializes in helping female entrepreneurs build their personal brands. Nicole's journey is a testament to the incredible power of transformation, as she shifted from a victim mentality to wholeheartedly embracing ownership of her life. Like many of us, there was a time when Nicole was trapped in a cycle of burnout, constant complaints, and pointing fingers at everyone but herself. But then, something extraordinary happened. She made the courageous decision to take 100% RESPONSIBILITY for where she was in life.  Nicole discovered that her victim mentality was sapping her energy and leading to constant burnout. She bravely worked through her fears of judgment, allowing her to build deeper connections in her business and marriage. She realized that by hiding her true self, she was actually preventing others from growing. By embracing vulnerability, she was able to strengthen her confidence, which, in turn, enabled her to set healthy boundaries with others. Nicole also transformed her approach to parenting, teaching her children self-love and the importance of following their hearts. But perhaps one of the most significant shifts was in her relationship with money. She started seeing money as something that FLOWS from the universe. Instead of chasing metrics and numbers, she focused on genuinely being of service to others. This change in mindset had an incredible impact on her business, doubling her revenue from 100k to 500k. Nicole's story serves as a powerful reminder that, regardless of where you find yourself today, you possess the power to rewrite your life's narrative and pave the way for a brighter, more purposeful future. Transformational Takeaway: By embracing vulnerability, we can strengthen even our closest relationships. When we focus on serving others with our unique gifts, we gain the power to manifest abundance and success. What would it look like for you to give up blame and embrace personal responsibility? How might being vulnerable deepen and strengthen your connections with those around you? Ep 289: INTERVIEW: The Power of Self-Love - Reinventing Your Life

Ep 289: INTERVIEW: The Power of Self-Love - Reinventing Your Life

Start Your Transformation Now Have you ever felt the sting of relationships unraveling? I know that pain is all too familiar for so many. My heartfelt talk with a former student gets real about overcoming struggles in marriage and life. With support from people who understand, you can transform and write a new story, as she did. Her experience emphasizes the power of self-love and surrendering control illusions.  In this powerful and revealing conversation, I speak with former student Felicia Fishback about overcoming major struggles in her relationships, and marriage, as well as finding her true self and purpose. She shares vulnerably about the bombshell moment when her husband said he was no longer attracted to her, the abandonment wounds from her childhood, and her journey to rebuild her confidence and self-love. Felicia was introduced to Jim's podcast by fellow student Justina, who said it would be transformational. She had no money at the time, but saw the immense value and joined the 12-pay program. She knew it would change her financial situation. She had tried many personal development methods before, but they never changed her underlying context – her unconscious core identity. After 4 years of marriage, Felicia's husband suddenly said he was no longer attracted to her. This crushed her self-esteem. Abandonment wounds from childhood were triggered. She tried to salvage the marriage but it was over. The experience forced her to truly surrender control and work through deep pain. Leaning on her TCP community, Felicia worked on rebuilding her self-love and confidence. She discovered a new enjoyment of alone time and her independence; becoming a hypnotherapist and coach aligned her with her purpose of guiding others through transformation. She credits the TCP work for saving her life and changing her family. Transformational Takeaway: Though life may knock us down, we each hold the power to rise up, learn, and grow. With self-love as our foundation and community as our strength, we can turn hardship into wisdom and write new chapters filled with confidence and purpose. The darkness of betrayal cannot overcome the light within us all. Ep 288: INTERVIEW: Transforming Your Identity To Create The Life That You Desire.

Ep 288: INTERVIEW: Transforming Your Identity To Create The Life That You Desire.

Start Your Transformation Now Feeling weighed down by expectations and identities that don't fit? If so, listen closely because this is the podcast for you! Even if you don’t know where to start, this episode should get you going on the right track. In this podcast (EP288), I interview a former TCP (Transformational Coaching Program) student, Jason, about the evolution of self and finding peace by letting go of limiting identities. He shares his personal journey of transformation, including moving from LA to Sedona and going through two divorces. Along the way, he learned to separate his sense of self from his roles and circumstantial outcomes. He reveals that though his work provided well financially, he felt a lot of pressure and stress due to having his identity tied to being a good provider. He stayed in an unfulfilling marriage longer than he wanted because he feared the financial loss of divorce. Can you relate to feeling trapped by the identities and expectations imposed on you? Unfortunately, a lot of us do. So, what did Jason decide to change? A pivotal change happened for Jason when he began focusing on “ways of being” rather than chasing circumstantial outcomes. He describes the transformative power of living from a place of inner peace, love, and gratitude rather than seeking validation through money, relationships and possessions. He emphasizes being in the present moment rather than needing a particular future. True spirituality cultivates a sense of connection to all, Jason shares. He gives examples like feeling gratitude washing dishes or seeing mosquitoes as bringing medicine rather than annoyance. By honoring all of life rather than just your own desires, you experience the abundance of needing nothing.  Transformational Takeaway: Real transformation comes from shifting your inner identity and way of being rather than chasing circumstantial changes. When you live with authentic connection, you discover that needing nothing is having everything. Ep 287: INTERVIEW: Going from a Fragmented and Wounded Self to Being Whole & Happy

Ep 287: INTERVIEW: Going from a Fragmented and Wounded Self to Being Whole & Happy

Start Your Transformation Now Are you one of those people who has created a lot of success and abundance but you're still unhappy despite having a great life? If so, you are going to love this episode. Even if you are still trying to create everything you want and desire in life, you'll find great inspiration in this week's podcast. In this episode, I speak with an amazing former TCP (Transformational Coaching Program) student, Dr. Alex, about her journey of personal transformation. We discuss Alex's challenges in medical school and her career and how she overcame them to find her true purpose.  Alex shares about her training as an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. Along the way, she expands on branching into functional and integrative medicine. As I stated in the episode, she has an impressive educational background: Trained anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management Works in functional and integrative medicine Attended prestigious institutions like the University of Chicago Medical School And, despite her outward success, Alex felt unfulfilled and miserable. She discusses creating a “checklist quicksand” and facades to please others. This led to feeling inauthentic and a painful existential crisis: Outwardly successful but inwardly unhappy Tried to construct the perfect life by society's standards Resulted in painful fragmentation and existential crisis You found success but not happiness? Ever felt like you're living your life trying to please others at the expense of yourself? Alex was that way also and she describes the anguish she felt when her facade collapsed and her suppressed self emerged. This catalyzed her transformation as she committed to living authentically, guided by her heart and purposes.  Alex expressed that her experience working with me in TCP significantly aided her personal growth and transformation. She initially sought coaching to enhance her business, but in the process, she underwent a personal transformation. Through coaching, she found a nurturing environment that allowed her to explore her true self authentically. Alex firmly believes in the importance of investing in coaching for genuine transformation.  Dr. Alex's experience illustrates how even outward success can ring hollow without inner purpose and wholeness. Her story offers hope that it's never too late to shed limiting beliefs and live authentically. The key is being willing to courageously face oneself and commit to inner transformation. Transformational Takeaway: We chase external success thinking it will make us happy, only to end up spiritually bankrupt. Like Dr. Alex, we can awaken to our wholeness by shedding expectations and reconnecting with our authentic selves. Will you take the courageous journey within to live your truth, with purpose and freedom? Ep 286: INTERVIEW: From A Life Upside Down - To A Life Transformation Right Side Up

Ep 286: INTERVIEW: From A Life Upside Down - To A Life Transformation Right Side Up

Start Your Transformation Now Ever feel like life throws you a curveball that completely knocks you off your feet? You're trucking along just fine when – bam! – everything falls apart. It's devastating like your life is unraveling at the seams. We've all been there, right? So what do you do when faced with total upheaval? Do you cling to the past? Or find the courage to step into the unknown future unfolding before you? (HINT: If you cling to your past, nothing changes for you.) I recently spoke with Eric Gewiss, who chose the bold path of reinvention when life turned upside down. His story of growth through adversity shows we all have the power to recreate ourselves anew – again and again. But it takes guts…are you willing to let go and trust in your own power? Trauma and Loss: Over just 18 months, Eric faced overwhelming loss – a divorce after nearly 20 years of marriage, getting fired, selling his home, and giving away nearly all his possessions. And then, open heart surgery out of the blue. Talk about a lot, right? Wow!  Everything familiar collapsed. Eric felt “lost” and like a “victim” to his circumstances. He tried clinging to the past but found only more suffering. Ever been there?  How often have you found yourself in that boat, you know, holding on when it's time to let go? Rediscovering Authentic Self: Eric realized he had to take back his power. He tapped into tools like meditation and journaling to rewrite his old stories and habits. As he puts it: “I take full responsibility for my thoughts and actions that no longer serve me…I release them.” By surrendering his attachment to the past self, Eric discovered freedom in the present. He moved from victimhood to the empowered creator of his new life. How could you benefit from letting go of old stories holding you back?  The Courage to Grow: Eric's journey of reinvention continues, but he now feels guided by purpose, not pain. He inspires us to release assumptions of who we are and to courageously grow into our best selves. As Eric says, “The only way out is through.” Even when your path ahead is unclear, you must trust the unfolding.  Eric's story proves, again and again, that we can choose to let go and move forward. Are you ready to boldly walk your own path? If so, it's time to let go of what has been holding you back, especially your fears. Listen to this week's episode and let Eric's story inspire you.  Transformational Takeaway: Letting go takes courage, but it allows your highest self to lead the way so you can create the life of your dreams.
