The Stars Survive the Avalanche in Game 3 Victory! Tyler Seguin and Logan Stankoven score twice!

The Dallas Stars take Game 3 in Colorado in 4-1 win and take a 2-1 series lead! Tyler Seguin and Logan Stankoven both score twice in the win. On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey breaks down all the action from game three and the 3rd period specifically by the Stars. Dallas outshot Colorado 10-7 in the final 20 and played impressive defense against the best offense in the NHL. Chris Tanev and Esa Lindell had big nights against Nathan MacKinnon and company once again to close out the win. Stars may have not deserved to win, but they looked like the best road team in the NHL tonight. We then jump into a discussion of how the Stars looked a lot more like the team against Vegas than they did in games one and two of this series. Stars seemed to make an adjustment from the first two games by playing a much more structured defensive game against the Avs and force Colorado to really earn their way to the front of the net. Jake Oettinger made 28 saves and looked really good early. The penalty kill is five for their last five and Dallas got better as the game went along.
