Surfing Lesson 187: Surfing By Design!

I'M NOT LUCKY. I'M NOT "BLESSED" OR "GIFTED." MY RESULTS ARE 100% BY DESIGN... I literally shouldn't be surfing. My body should not be able to handle it. But gone is the shell of a man who simply says "screw it" and surfs anyways with a deep sense of hope in a blind faith. I have built a game with an entire framework specifically designed to transform my body into a vessel capable of surfing the chaos of the ocean. I have every reason to be depressed and pull the disabled victim card. I could easily continue suppressing my heart and dragging down my family like I did for two years. I know many men who do with far less pain and responsibilities. But I've built a game with an entire framework specifically designed to transform my pain and disappointment into passion and power. I don't wake up with fire. I CREATE my fire by design. My marriage should be Luci and I just getting by doing the bare minimum. Luci should be heavily sexually suppressed like the first 11 1/2 years of our marriage with the particular sexually damaged and horrific history she has. But I've built a game with an entire framework specifically designed to unlock her desire and passion, transforming her guilt, shame, and even apathy into freedom and connection...and PLEASURE. With 4 kids, disability, an ambitious type-A wife running multiple businesses, and 100's of pleasurable distractions at any given moment (right now the beach just down the road is calling my name!), I have every legit reason to not have a coaching business and to not show up consistently and passionately to the world. But my prayers have been backed vision, design, and commitment. It's no accident. It's no lottery. God didn't just hand these "blessings" over to me. I designed my life with the results in mind. Crystal clear intentions allowing me to set a very focused frame. And pure commitment to these results doing the rest.
