Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck
=======================
I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning Taro, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. About Carrie and @QuickLearnQuests
===============================
I have been reading Tarot cards for 30 years for fun. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet.

Here is the transcript:

Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Two of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed.

The Two of Swords upright often represents being at a crossroads, where difficult decisions must be made. It's a card that suggests careful consideration before moving forward. However, when the Two of Swords is reversed, the struggle to decide becomes even more intense. The reversed Two of Swords indicates that you may be avoiding a choice and feeling stuck. It can feel overwhelming, and the uncertainty of the situation may have you feeling internal conflict about what way to go. The reversed Two of Swords also points to suppressed emotions and avoiding confronting the truth. You may resist seeing things clearly, preferring to remain indecisive rather than facing the complex realities before you.

So what does that mean when we see the Two of Swords reversed in a reading?

When the Two of Swords reversed appears in a reading, it urges you to take action, even if it means confronting an uncomfortable decision. Suppose you are ignoring a situation that needs your attention. In that case, the reversed Two of Swords reminds you that avoiding conflict or difficult decisions won't make them disappear. It's time to address the issue and move forward with clarity.

So, what is the best way to memorize the Two of Swords?

Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Two of Swords moment is always when I am trying to decide whether to quit a job. I like to have backup plans in place, especially in financial matters. It always brings me into turmoil when deciding whether to stay in a job. I get the itch to move jobs every five years. I like to continue to grow and gain new work experience. Still, I get attached to the people I work with, the environment, and the success of my projects. The difficult decision for me is whether to choose security over uncertainty. I usually prefer the mystery of the unknown to the mundane. So that is how I see the Two of Swords reversed. The Two of Swords Reversed reminds us that facing our challenges head-on is the key to finding clarity and moving forward, even when decisions feel overwhelming.

Remember, the key to mastering Tarot is practice. As you listen to these three-minute lessons, the cards' symbolism will become more ingrained in your memory. Thank you for tuning in. Keep practicing and join us for more three-minute lessons to memorize more cards. Your dedication and effort will surely pay off, leading you to a deeper understanding of the Tarot.
