Interview with Sam Delaney, journalist, broadcaster, Calcio fan and author of the bestselling book 'Sort Your Head Out - Mental Health without all the Bollocks'.

In this episode of TGU podcast host Frank Risorto speaks with journalist, broadcaster and Calcio fan Sam Delaney.

As well as respectively hosting and co-hosting the 'The Reset' and 'You Irons' podcast, Sam has recently authored and released a bestselling book called 'Sort Your Head Out - Mental Health without all the Bollocks'.

Frank sits down with Sam to discuss his book and why he wrote it, his battle with mental health and addiction, how football and alcohol were intrinsically linked, his early days in London, drinking and drug habits and the process to recovery, sobriety and his support network.

Sam then talks about travelling to Italy for the first time and visiting Rome and Sardinia, watching Serie A football in the late 80s and early 90s', his Italian family and the influence they've had on his life, supporting Lazio, attending multiple European finals, playing Subbuteo and why it always ended up in chaos, and his memorable day with the legendary Italian referee Pierluigi Collina as well as much more.
