Introducing Mythology

Introducing Mythology

The new mythology podcast from Parcast takes a deep dive into the history, origins, and meanings of each myth covered. Myths endure for a reason. This episodic audio drama brings ancient myths to life for the modern audience. Each episode presents exciting stories and analysis of each myths history and origins, giving insight into how our ancestors saw the universe. Each story is brought to life by an ensemble cast of voice actors. That covers Greek, Norse and Egyptian myths as well as lesser known stories from Sumerians, Africans, the Japanese and many more!

And today we’re going to be playing for you Part 1 Athena. In case your not on top of your Greek Mythology game, Athena was the Goddess of art and war and defied gender roles exhibited in Greek culture. She fought fiercely in a culture where women didn’t go to battle. And She used wisdom to find a balance between the ways of the past and the way of the future. If you enjoyed listening to this preview of Parcast’s episode on Athena and want to hear the rest of it, search and subscribe to Mythology wherever your listen to podcasts.
