Robert shares his story of how he discovered a job opportunity in Taiwan and instantly fell in love with the country, deciding to make it his permanent residence. Despite his foreign appearance, Robert has embraced the Taiwanese culture and spirit wholeheartedly. He has even developed a love for local delicacies, including the infamous sticky tofu!

What makes Robert's journey unique is his unconventional approach to learning Mandarin Chinese. During our conversation, Robert surprises us with his insightful and well-rounded responses, demonstrating a level of depth that goes beyond surface-level Mandarin proficiency. His love for Taiwan shines through his words, and he truly embodies the spirit of a Taiwanese, despite his foreign appearance.
