In this episode, we sit down with 可欣, who shares her incredible journey from Kazakhstan to Taiwan. After meeting her Taiwanese husband in San Francisco, they made the decision to move back to Taiwan to care for his elderly parents and take over the family business. 可欣 has been living in Taiwan for six years now, and she has made tremendous efforts to learn Mandarin, both during her time in the United States and since moving to Taiwan.

We delve into the challenges and joys of raising bilingual kids in Taiwan, exploring the cultural differences and the sacrifices 可欣 has made for her family. She candidly discusses the difficulties she faced in finding a job in her profession in Taiwan and how she managed to overcome these obstacles by creating something of her own.
