Window to win Cup never closes in Las Vegas
VGK has won the Pacific Division four times in its first eight seasons. We felt the window might be closing after last season, but the acquisition of Mitch Marner, who will play on the same team as Jack Eichel, gives the Golden Knights more chances to contend for the Cup and make deep runs. Both players are in the prime of their careers. VGK has a good mix of vets and youth. VGK prospect Trevor Connolly was injured in the World Juniors Showcase Monday. He couldn't put weight on his right leg. He has suffered other knee injuries on that right leg and there could be concern for his return. And we discuss how VGK will fix the penalty kill, which ranked 26th in the league last season.
