The Future of Food: Where is Malaysian F&B Going?

Since MCO, online food deliveries are the increasingly popular way Malaysians put food on the table. As the Director of Commercial & Partnership at Grab Malaysia, JJ Tan has a great overview of the industry. In this episode of Foodie Canteen, we get some insight from the 2020/2021 Food Trend report, such as the upcoming trends in Malaysian F&B and what online merchants can do to stay ahead. On a more personal level, JJ tells us what it’s like working for one of Southeast Asia’s most successful technology companies along with some tips on thriving in a corporate environment.

“The future of F&B is omnichannel-driven, in the sense that dine-in, delivery and self pick-up will coexist.” - JJ Tan
