The New Jersey Devils dominated the Toronto Maple Leafs for most of the game. But unfortunately, they still came up short. The Devils were up 1-0 and sacrificed a short-handed goal in the third period. This later led to an Auston Matthews game-winner in overtime. New Jersey native Anthony Stolarz kept his team in the game with a strong performance in net. Max Pacioretty roughed up Jack Hughes at one point.
