1. God’s Creations Are Eternal: This lesson reminds us that what is real and meaningful is eternal and unchanging. Anything that causes fear or distress stems from the ego’s illusions. By repeating today’s mantra—“God did not create a meaningless world”—we affirm that divine truth is not shaped by the fleeting or painful aspects of the physical world.

2. Letting Go of Meaningless Thoughts: When distressing thoughts arise, they often stem from the meanings we have projected onto the world, reinforced by collective socialization and indoctrination. This lesson teaches us to observe these thoughts, label them as illusions, and release their hold on us, opening the way for divine love and peace to flow in.

3. Practicing Specificity and Awareness: With eyes closed, bring to mind a specific fear or distressing situation.

State clearly: “God did not create [specific situation], and so it is not real.”
Repeat: “God did not create a meaningless world.”
This practice helps us confront our personal and collective “repertory of horrors” with compassion and detachment, reinforcing the truth of God’s eternal love.

Resistance is natural—observe it without judgment and return to the practice when ready.
