027. Farming While Enduring Topical Steroid Withdrawal: Luke's Humbling Experience

Listen to 32 year old Cannabis farmer Luke Spaulding tell his experience going through Topical Steroid Addiction and Withdrawal.

Luke's background: California native. Moved to Oregon and is in the process of building his Cannabis farm. Has a love and appreciation for agriculture and alternative medicines for healing.

At one point during his 6 months of TSW, Luke was working on his farm in the heat and had to make a bed of dirt to lay on while giving orders to his farm hands because his legs were so bad that he could not walk. He actually even contemplated ordering a wheelchair since he wouldn't walk due to his legs being so inflamed, swollen and cracked behind the knees.

Luke began his Topical Steroid Withdrawal February of 2022 but had been experiencing cycles of it without knowing it before that time.

As a child he always questioned if it was ok taking all these steroids, but listened to his doctors and used them for years, putting them everywhere even on his face, eyes and entire body.

When asked what he feels was his worst TSW symptom? Luke responded with it being lack of sleep and insomnia (I agree it's one of the worst for sure!)

Luke believes that creating routines are immensely powerful and helped him a lot.
