John Gibson has covered Newcastle United and England for more than 60 years, and in the early days of his career formed a special friendship with the Charlton family that produced legends Jack and Bobby. Bobby of course went on to play for Man United and lifted the World Cup, alongside Jack, in 1966. Sadly, Bobby, who was knighted in 1994, sadly passed away last month.
