Frank McGowan

Frank is a film-maker | producer/director/editor | entrepreneur | presenter as well as CEO and executive producer of his own BAD PONY MEDIA PRODUCTIONS/BAD PONY MEDIA FILMS, he has produced more than 300+ hours of multi-award-winning, BAFTA celebrated content with real-life best friend Michelle Martin. Current projects for the “dynamic duo” (as featured in Business Insider Magazine) include gritty new LGBT TV drama “NINETY EIGHT PERCENT”, “LOOK UP” presented by RON GREEN and chat show “THE TALK” with broadcaster/journalist SUSAN SUTTON. He is also set to produce horror feature film EVENING OF THE DEAD - where he makes his Hollywood debut as writer/director, and will direct “THEM” – a new alien sci-fi series produced in Scotland for Netflix.

Over the coming weeks, Frank will host two new entertainment podcasts - HOLLYWOOD INSIGHTS and POP GOES TV, plus his own YouTube Original FRANKLY SPEAKING which filmed its pilot in December 2022. He is also producing GLASGOW MEMORIES – a podcast featuring conversations with the ageing population of Glasgow and the surrounding areas to share their stories with the world.
