NFL Week 5 Preview: Start, Sits, Sleepers, and Busts!

Week 5 is here, and with four teams on bye, it’s time to fine-tune your fantasy lineups. In this episode, we break down the best starts, sits, sleepers, and busts for each position to help you make the right calls. We’ll touch on key players like Brock Purdy, Javonte Williams, and Jordan Whittington to watch for this week. Let’s dive in!

Thursday Night Football Recap: (00:00-06:27)

Quarterback (QB): (06:27-13:22)

We discuss quarterbacks like Brock Purdy, who has been solid against Arizona and could continue his success at home, and Patrick Mahomes, who faces a tough matchup with the Saints.

Running Back (RB): (13:22-20:19)

Running backs like Javonte Williams are trending up, with a solid matchup against the Raiders, while Zamir White may struggle to break out this week against a tough Broncos defense.

Wide Receiver (WR): (20:19-28:26)

Brian Thomas Jr. could exploit the Colts’ zone coverage, and Jordan Whittington has been seeing solid target volume and could thrive against Green Bay. Meanwhile, Tyreek Hill may have a tough week without Tua, and Tank Dell’s value is uncertain coming off an injury.

The Vikings DST looks solid after a strong start to the season, while the Texans DST could struggle against Buffalo’s high-powered offense.
