254 - She Built a City to Teach Business!

Denise Leigh has been a business education teacher in rural Pennsylvania for 25 years teaching just about every business education subject that one can imagine. She is an innovator and change-maker ieducation while offering a truly immersive business education experience for her students. Denise's love of business and passion for learning has sent her on a mission to revolutionize business education globally. Denise is a Teachers Pay Teachers author and her engaging, real-world, business education resources are used in classrooms in over 40 countries. She is an active member of NNSTOY the National Network of State Teacher's of the Year as she is a 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Finalist. She speaks at teacher conferences and enjoys traveling to colleges and universities to empower pre-service teachers and encourage others to be a teacher.
