From student to staff with Philipp Montenegro

From student to staff with Philipp Montenegro

For many international students, the prospect of becoming a researcher or teacher at Lund is an attractive one, but what can that journey actually look like in practice? In this episode, host Timothy Parker (LU International Office) is joined by former international student and LUMES graduate Philipp Montenegro, who now works for the University as a research assistant at the International Institution for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE). Philipp discusses his history as an international student at Lund, his interest in environment and sustainability, and the route he took in joining Lund University as a member of staff. He also touches on student life in Lund and the many activities and sports to get involved with, as well as his work on the IIIEE's podcast series.
