Ep. 266: The 7 Summits & Mt. Vinson Massif - Part 1 - Tom Fabbri

Tom Fabbri is on the show today to tell us about his progress in his attempt to climb the 7 Summits as well as his experiences from Mt. Vinson. Tom is a world class adventurer who is on a journey to complete the Adventure Grand Slam, summiting the tallest peaks on each of the seven continents and skiing to the North and South Poles. In one year, he climbed four of these peaks in his quest to fulfill this dream – Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mt. Elbrus in Russia, Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia, and Aconcagua in Argentina. His most recent climb took him to Mt. McKinley in Alaska where he summited on July 5, 2013. With two climbs left, Vinson Massif in Antarctica and Mt. Everest and skiing the poles, Tom is well on his way to becoming part of an elite group of mountaineers as he successfully completes this challenge.
