For our feature interview last week, we chatted to Ireland´s World Champion on the mountains, John Lenihan.

In this special interview, dedicated to John´s old friend and fellow Kerry running legend Jerry Kiernan, John chatted about:

  • His great memories training with and racing against Jerry
  • Being at peace on the mountains despite not racing on them like before
  • Where you´ll find him on the Kerry Way Ultra every year
  • His fantastic memories of the time he conquered the World and became World Mountain Running Champion
  • His racing and training before becoming World Champion
  • Some of the reasons why he had such a long and successful career
