Episode 189: Ryan Pinder | Flyers/Flames trade analysis and insight

Riley and Derek begin the show discussing the flu bug going around and Riley actually showing up to mens league last week. Diving into some hockey talk they discuss the Philadelphia Flyers trading Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to the Calgary Flames for Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier, and draft picks. Ryan Pinder from FlamesNation joined us for an interview! Ryan gives us his perspective on the Flyers/Flames trade, insight on Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier, and his thoughts on Farabee and Frost so far. Before he leaves us, Ryan also talks to us about Dustin Wolf, and if he thinks the Flames make any more trades before the deadline. Back in the stu Nasty and Riles discuss the affect trading two locker room favorite has on a team, Tuesday night’s loss against Utah, Tony DeAngelo joining the Islanders, James van Riemsdyk’s tough night, Tage Thompson getting hit in the head and the Sabres embarrassing response, and Ryan Hartman’s suspension. Moving along they discuss a ton of injuries around the NHL to some big name players at the moment, and all the different trades over the last couple weeks, including Rantanen to Carolina for Necas, JT Miller going back to the Rangers from the Canucks, Vancouver getting Marcus Pettersson from Pittsburgh, and Mikael Granlund and Cody Ceci going from the Sharks to the Stars. Finishing up the show Nasty and Riggs answer fan submitted questions.
