A Grand Prior, Anne of Denmark, Margaret Tudor's third marriage and Mary Boleyn's son

In the first part of her “This week in Tudor history” for the week beginning 1st March, historian Claire Ridgway is going to be introducing you to Thomas Tresham, grand prior of the Order of St John of Jersualem, and Anne of Denmark, James I’s queen consort, as well as talking about another unhappy marriage for Margaret Tudor, and the birth of Mary Boleyn’s son. She died of dropsy and consumption at Hampton Court Palace aged 44. 3rd March 1528 - Margaret Tudor, widow of King James IV of Scotland and sister of King Henry VIII, married for a third time. She married Henry Stuart, Lord Methven. It was not a happy marriage. 4th March 1526 - Birth of courtier and administrator, Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon, son of Mary Boleyn and her first husband, William Carey.
